My Response To A Friend Who Kindly Challenged Me
A friend of mine watched me visit the KindSpring site. He asked: "what is that place you always visit?" Then I made a quick briefing for him. Then he was reflexive and asked: So, all of you people are boasting about good deeds? I remained in silence. Then, a few minutes later I said: No. We share positive thoughts and invite people to change for good. It's inspiration and daily doses of good vibes. It's an inspiration because you can emulate those good deeds and apply them into your life. And you start to change your world and spread kindness. Then he replied: But that doesn't work too much. There are many evil on this planet and you guys are few against an army of negativity. Besides, you don't change anything by simply posting beautiful images and quotes. If you want to change the world, donate or something. Then he was laughing. Then I replied: Which side ... Read Full Story >>

Her Kindness Saved My Girlfriend's Life
Kindness returned to me. This happened last Saturday, at 6:00 pm. I was having a picnic day with my girlfriend. We both like to ride her motorcycle (she likes that I drive) and that day we drove to the nearest park. We bought some coffees and smoothies, then we were enjoying our food. Within a few hours, sky was menacing and looked ready to drop a heavy rain. We packed everything again and we were ready to go. My girlfriend, who was sitting on a bench, suddenly was very still and she couldn't talk to me. She didn't move. Her eyes were rolling and she was about to loose consciousness. I held her in my arms and asked if she wanted to rest. She didn't answer and only said "Sorry..." It started to rain and I didn't know what to do. She was fighting to stay alert but her skin was pale and her ... Read Full Story >>

A Big Lesson From A Little One
In the city I live in, we have a local national park full of trees. I'm thankful for that place, although I do I wish it was bigger. I was walking around and climbing by some tracks when I saw a beautiful tarantula crossing a path. I just stopped and decided to absorb myself in its walking nature and how big the world is for that entity. Behind me there was a family going up the same track and they also noticed the tarantula. Without doubting it, a kid shouted: - "Quickly dad, kill it." His brother also said that, encouraging their dad to kill the tarantula. Then I stopped their dad. - "Wait. This is the last place that the tarantula has to live in. Do you really want to kill it?" - "Well, it's dangerous and all and we have kids here..." - "Why not stand still and let it cross safely? Then you ... Read Full Story >>

Gift of food
A meal is a meal. Usually on weekends, I teach some driving lessons with some partners. When a customer calls and wants a driving lesson, my partner Angy receives the money and then deducts 30% of the money for my payment.
These days, lately, my partner hasn't had enough money to eat because she had to pay some hard debts. Usually, I collect my salary from our payments box, but this time I didn't. So she can use that extra money to buy food. I know that food is energy and we all need it.

A Kindness Dilemma of Sorts
Little act of kindness and unkindness at the same time??
I was reading and suddenly a bee entered through the window. It was flying near there and suddenly it fell into a spider web I didn't notice before. Quickly a spider descended upon the bee and started to use more web to try to cover it.
I grabbed a pencil and rescued the little bee, without touching the spider. Then the bee was having trouble to get rid of the web. It was on its wings and legs. I watched and tried to help.
It took nearly 36 minutes. Then flew away and returned to say thanks, I'd assume. It was in the curtain. And after some movements of its head, flew again.
So, kind act for bee.
Unkind act for spider, for I stole its prey.

I am your Mirror. Mirror Kindness.
Kindness and spiritual connection is a big thing. It goes beyond bodies. It goes beyond words. Even goes beyond dreams. Nevertheless, this place, KindSpring, is based on material technology and it makes us feel as closer as ever. Words of wisdom, of hope, illusion and love. It holds a secret key which leads us to understand our deep hearts and souls. Why do we feel as we do? I've sensed kindness, surrounded by people with same interests. Even if I don't know many of you physically I could tell someone I DO know your souls. It's like we're developing ourselves here, growing as a tree, and everyone of us is a powered branch of light and energy. How does kindness reflect? We are receiving stimuli and that "pay it forward" act is a nutrient. We first need to nurture ourselves. Then, we can reflect the Act of Kindness to more souls, ... Read Full Story >>

Where's My Bread?
Kindness is playful.
Today I bought my piece of sweet bread from the local guy. Usually I leave my bread on top of some rocks. Then I read or walk and then come back to get another bite from that sweet. I repeat that until I finish eating the bread.
Today was funny. Kindness appeared there, suddenly. I was walking and when I came back to eat again, my bread had disappeared. I looked and detected a man in the distance. He was eating my bread with so much happiness and enthusiasm. I smiled.
I'm going to repeat that action to see what happens :)
