Trusting in the Kindness of Strangers
While driving from my home on the long commute to work I noticed a car in front of me had a wobbly wheel. It was clear the wheel had been changed recently and had not been fixed correctly. On a slow road this would not present much of a problem but I knew the route and knew a motorway was coming soon where the traffic would move much faster and would be very dangerous as the wheel could very well come off at that speed. A Long Queue Made A Little Shorter
During a recent business trip there was a hold on trains to the airport and many people were stranded and had to buy new tickets for flights and also arrange hotels for the night. I was traveling alone and like everyone else I had to stand in very long queues. I had queued for about 30-40 minutes and was looking around when I saw a lady with a small child in her arms near the back of the queue. I knew she had at least another 30-40 minutes to wait just to reach my position and maybe 10 more minutes from there as I was quite close to the front of the queue. Hooked On HelpOthers
Okay, I have a confession to make - and it's all the fault of you guys on this site! I was on a flight earlier this week. It was a business trip so I was flying alone. I was last on the plane and when I got to my seat a mother was in the row with two kids, one of whom was in my seat. She asked if it was okay and of course it was okay! So I ended up sitting in another row in the aisle seat instead of my selected window seat, but it would have been a bad person who asked the kid to sit alone while I sat with his brother and mother!
